Neil
started his career as a personal trainer in 1994 in Kitsilano
but client needs prompted him to move to the North Shore in
1998 to establish BFit Personal Training.
Since 1990 Neil has been an accomplished seminar presenter.
His clients include Nesbitt Burns, Running Room, and the
University of Alberta.
Neil's primary athletic endeavour, running, has garnered him
athletic scholarships at California State University Long
Beach and the University of Alberta (where he earned a
Bachelor of Education degree with a major in Physical
Education). At both Universities Neil was captain and MVP of
the Cross Country teams. |

Samantha Bolt is an English born,
globe trotting personal trainer that has decided to make
Vancouver's north shore her permanent home. Samantha's
impressive educational background begins in the South
West of England, where she earned a BSc. (honours) in
Management of Health and Exercise from Surrey University
Samantha's athletic background has
included running track, Netball and Field Hockey. Having
competed in all three sports at a high level, Sam has
gained great knowledge on sport specific conditioning.
She is currently challenging herself by training for her
first marathon.
Samantha has developed a unique
personal training resume and style by incorporating
styles and techniques from her previous training
experiences in London, England; Sydney, Australia and
London, On. In addition to personal training Sam also
instructs low impact classes for seniors, ski fit and
spin classes.
Samantha's obvious joy of health
and fitness is reflected in her work achieving results
and making exercise and healthy living enjoyable and
refreshing. Samantha's main focus is on improving body
awareness (posture) making training more dynamic and
versatile. Samantha's clientele have included athletes,
post-op rehab, disease prevention and active
rehabilitation. However, most of Samantha's work can be
described as health and wellness improvement for the
general population. |

Hamilton

Sheila Hamilton is a a registered
British Columbia Parks and Recreation Personal Trainer
as well as a registered Aquatic Fitness Leader and
Weight Trainer. She holds a Specialty Designation in
Third Age (Older Adults) and has been a registered nurse
in B.C. for 10 years in Bone Marrow Transplant at V.G.H.,
and at B.C. Transplant Society as a Transplant
Coordinator.
In addition, Sheila performs
community volunteer work in Little League Baseball, B.C.
School Planning Council, School Parent Advisory Council
(PAC), and Vancouver Sun Run. She currently teaches
classes for Hip and Knee Replacement for North Vancouver
Recreation Centre, in addition to on site Personal
Training.
She has been a member of
International Council of Active Aging (ICAA) Attended
ICAA conference Nov 2004 and 2005 in Orlando, Florida

Tyron graduated from UBC in Human
Kinetics (specialization in Health and Fitness) in May
of 2004 and began working in the field of active
rehabilitation as a registered kinesiologist. He worked
with a wide range of clients ranging in injuries from
knees, hips, backs, shoulders, and necks. He has also
done numerous courses and programs through the CHEK
Institute in San Diego, CA.
In January of 2006, Tyron started
his own personal training, rehabilitation, and nutrition
business in Vancouver and on the North Shore. Tyron's
areas of specialiation are in fat loss, nutrition,
rehabilitation of work- and sport-related injuries, and
sports conditioning.

Desrochers

Michael has spent years as a student,
practitioner, and educator in the healthcare field. His
approach is unique in that he integrates multiple
modalities together in the development and execution of
each client's personalized health and personal training
program.
Michael is a Registered Massage
Therapist, Registered Nutritional Consultant, Program
Director at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy,
and a PRO Trainer with CanFitPro. In his role with
CanFitPro he educates and certifies personal trainers
nationally.
As a Clinical Exercise Specialist
he is comfortable working with clients that require
specialized medically based programs from neurological
dysfunction to orthopedic rehabilitation. If general
health and wellness is your goal then Michael
understands how to help you reach them…he was once 230
lbs and 30% body fat…ask to see his before and after
picture. In your sessions with Michael you can expect a
bit of everything: functionally based resistance
training, pilates, yoga, assisted stretching, and the
use of advanced heart monitors to let you know how many
calories, and percentage of fat, you burned during the
workout. |

English

Phil English was born and raised in
Vancouver, Canada where he has been playing soccer for
over 30 years, winning three Provincial youth
championships and two Provincial men's indoor
championships. He has had professional indoor tryouts
with Sacramento and Seattle.
For the past seven years, Phil has
combined his soccer experience with extensive
professional fitness certification to develop innovative
strength and conditioning programs for clients of all
ages, professions and fitness levels. He has brought his
energetic and positive training style to athletes in the
National Hockey League, Major League Baseball, Canadian
Football League and British Columbia Junior Hockey
League; he has been instrumental in helping high school,
college and university athletes receive scholarships in
both Canada and the United States; and he has worked
extensively with male and female college athletes in
soccer, hockey, rugby, tennis and volleyball.
In addition to elite and
university/college athletes, Phil's clients include
medical professionals, lawyers, actors, musicians and
any individual wishing to achieve a higher level of
health and fitness. He has also developed specific
training programs for Paralympics athletes, children and
those with special needs.
Phil's expertise, enthusiasm,
strong work ethic and caring nature allow his clients to
achieve their individual goals, in a dynamic and
energetic yet safe environment. His philosophy is to
help each client set measurable and attainable fitness
and wellness goals and then to guide them through the
process of achieving those goals. He measures his

Andrea complements her PhD in
psychology and Professorship at the University of
British Columbia with over 18 years of experience in the
fitness field.
As a Personal Trainer, Group
Fitness Leader, Nutrition and Wellness Specialist and
Fitness Consultant, she holds certifications from BCRPA,
Can-Fit-Pro, CSEP, Ontario Association of Exercise
Science, and other associations.
In her business Psyenergy: Mind and
Body training, you will find her writing articles and
presenting talks from small running clinics to large
corporate and academic groups, energizing a cycling
class instructing innovative core classes, putting a
budding Ironman triathlete through mental training
drills, pacing a marathon runner, or conducting a
stress-reduction session with a busy mom. She
"practices what she preaches" as she finds her
passion in participating in races across the country and
internationally as a Forerunners, Dizzy Cycles, Sugoi,
Nike, and Guru sponsored Ironman triathlete. |

Stanley was born in Hong Kong and
served for 12 years between Hong Kong and England in the
British Forces as a physical training instructor.
Upon completion of his contract
with the British Forces, Stanley moved to Vancouver to
pursuit his health and fitness career.
Personal and organized fitness has
always been a huge discipline in Stanley's life, so once
certified in Canada, was able to build and grow a
successful personal training business and establish
great repore and respect within the fitness industry.
Stanley's background and expertise
in weight training, martial arts, nutrition, swimming,
coaching, core conditioning, body sculpture and NCCP
Olympic weightlifting are all great tools that enable
him to design the appropriate programs for group
training sessions and the individual client.
Stanley is truly passionate about
his work and his professional humorous nature has
enabled him to establish committed working relationship
